Beautiful, smooth turns, i ,liked a lot

I'm recommending this just because it's simply beautiful and unique, you just don't find it anywhere else (or, at least, some months ago, I couldn't, so...). It's precisely like a classic 3x3, but it's beautiful to look at, and that says it all, among the neverending list of fast and beautiful (but not THAT beautiful!) cubes to solve. The only issue is that it's not a professional cube and I once risked breaking it because it simply doesn't have standards to compete with; there's only one and you gotta take it as it is... Which I personally suggest.

OK. I have not re-adjusted the tensions OOTB since going back to it. What this puzzle needs is to be finessed. People that are rough handlers of their puzzles will have a hard time with this. Those that soft touch their puzzles will enjoy this one a lot more. I adapted my turning style to this puzzle and it is a joy to solve if one is gentle with it. One has to be precise, too. Otherwise, it ends up being a heck of a lot of frustration. I have upped my rating on the puzzle to five stars after re-assessing. It's really fun and forces the individual to adapt to the puzzle in more ways than one. Just get it and be ready to be wowed.

It definitely has a fun and interesting feel to it. It is harder to read the colors because of the spheres. Don't expect to speed solve it because the spheres make it more difficult to manipulate. Shape aside it is smooth turning but it can be very unstable. It has mushy, squishy feel to it. It definitely will corner twist A LOT. This is because there is no way to really stabilize the sphere shapes in the corner pieces based on the design. Applying speed cube design to the spheres does not quite work out as well as what would be expected. I doubt adjusting the tension will make much of a difference. I have seen some people on video do it for speed solving. As a novelty cube it is quite a conversation piece and looks good in the collection. Buy it if you want something that is different that actually works. I got it because it looks like something right out of a mad scientist's lab. Neat - o.
