this thing is really wacky, but if you want to know what it is, it's a 3x3 with edges only, so it would be great for beginners that want to solve a 3x3 on their own....but it turns pretty bad, you're better of with the dyi cube with interchangeable tiles where you just have the edges tiled, for sure this looks cool...but it's not really worth it for such a poor turning quality and if you know what you're doing it just frustrates you
