I heard many people saying you have a 2x2 and a 3x3 to solve at once with this puzzle, but that’s inaccurate. This is just a 3x3 shape mod. The corners are more of just extensions to the 3x3 which make it seem like a 2x2 also. The center layers can turn independently just like on a regular 3x3. I rate this 4 stars because it is a fun puzzle, but the pieces keep coming apart and my fingers keep getting caught with every turn. Regardless, it’s a great add to the collection and I do recommend it.

Good cube for this price and it turns nicely except the fingers are getting caught with the corner pieces!. I bought it because i want to modify it into a 3x3x3 Ball cube. I think it is better than the limcube design one and costs wayyy less too. I like it!. J2018
